Every year we use New Years day as possible launch pad for a new way of living. We set goals and create resolutions as we feel like we have a clean slate to move forward with our lives and tackle the new year ahead. What ultimately ends up happening two or three weeks into the new year is that many of the high hopes of for big changes have left us. The energy and enthusiasm we showed just weeks earlier wanes and before we know it its the same old same old. How does one break this cycle? How does one truly change their behavior where it becomes effortless and natural? How does one get to a state where they do not have to force themselves into change but rather automatically become the change they seek? These are powerful questions with magical answers to those who truly want them. Behaviors do not change with any high rate of success by way of force. To see this all you have to do is look anyone who is stuck in a destructive pattern of behavior.
