Like many who hold the values of unity and equality among all races and genders, common decency in how we treat one another, optimism about a good and kind world, an open mind on economic policy and development, environmental responsibility and awareness, faith and love over fear and division as a guiding principle, and the progressive forward nature of life, I am personally dealing with coming to terms with the contrary demonstrated character and ideals that have been represented to this point by the president elect.
However, I have learned that at the core life is always supporting our survival on a larger scale by allowing our collective choices and consequences to work to raise our awareness. As awareness expands,Read More
Once again we are reminded of the negative aspects of life as we witness the senselessness of another mass shooting. We watch and we are aghast at the reality of another 9 lives lost in a scenario that never should have happened. The why’s of this situation, like so many before it, will never truly be known. Even if they could be known would we ever accept a reason that makes the unfortunate event any better or any easier to deal with?Read More

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Publicity Contact: Keely Bomee Platte May 1, 2014 A Conversation With Howard Falco Author ofTIME IN A BOTTLE: Mastering the Experience of Life 1. In Time in a Bottle you frequently refer to the state or power of I AM. What does “I AM” mean within the context of this new book? Is reading your first book I AM: The Power of Discovering Who You Really Are a requisite for fully understanding Time in a Bottle? Reading my first book I AM is not a requisite for reading Time in a Bottle. They both support and complement each other. While I AM focuses on radical self-awareness, Time in a Bottle is about the process of personal creation. What the power of I AM refers to in the context of the new book is the power within you to determine who you are and then to connect this understanding with how much of an impact it has on your experience of “Time.” 2. What is your primary goal with this book – what do you hope readers take away from it? What I hope readers take away is how much they are in control over the experience of their life. I hope they realize that they hold the true power within them to create both the experience that they have each day and the time it takes to realize their deepest dreams and desires. I hope they come to embrace how limitless they truly are. 3. You provide private coaching for individuals, athletes and teens. How do you feel your advice in Time in a Bottle can be best applied to these separate categories of people? Every experience we want to create starts with an intention. The time it takes to manifest that intention is determined by both the belief system of the individual and the awareness of the individual. Time in a Bottle is deeply committed to helping the reader align both of these critical factors together so they can achieve what they want faster and with less suffering, confusion and potential roadblocks along the way. It is about seeing and believing in more of what is possible for them each day. 4. You encourage us to adjust and broaden our perspective of time in order to “collapse” it so that we may actualize our goals faster than before – to essentially cut a more direct path from point A to point B. How do you define “time”? I see time as the gap between thought and realization, the space between intention and experience, the movement between the experience of creating the dream and the actual realization of the dream. I see time as the journey of never-ending awareness. 5. Oftentimes when met with an obstacle or challenge in life (missing a flight, spilling your coffee, ending a relationship, etc.), people say, “It happened for a reason,” – believing that whatever is meant to happen will happen. What is your reaction to this phrase and do you encourage this belief? I believe that everything that happens in the entire universe is for a specific purpose. There is nothing random as it relates to you the observer. It’s all about raising your awareness in a direct working relationship with your bigger questions, dreams, desires, and intentions. The reason I encourage looking at the world from this perspective is that it reduces resistance, denial and time, and allows the reader to...Read More
Every year we use New Years day as possible launch pad for a new way of living. We set goals and create resolutions as we feel like we have a clean slate to move forward with our lives and tackle the new year ahead. What ultimately ends up happening two or three weeks into the new year is that many of the high hopes of for big changes have left us. The energy and enthusiasm we showed just weeks earlier wanes and before we know it its the same old same old. How does one break this cycle? How does one truly change their behavior where it becomes effortless and natural? How does one get to a state where they do not have to force themselves into change but rather automatically become the change they seek? These are powerful questions with magical answers to those who truly want them. Behaviors do not change with any high rate of success by way of force. To see this all you have to do is look anyone who is stuck in a destructive pattern of behavior. No matter what the consequences or punishment they are threatened with, in many cases the thoughts, impulses and actions don’t seem to change. That’s why so many who go to jail and then get out seem to find their way back. There is something much stronger at work in the mind. Behavioral impulses and decisions come from certain thoughts and feelings which create energy. This energy is what forms the actions. So the vital question really comes down to where do our thoughts come from? Everything you do is a result of what you feel you need to do to survive in a way that defines you best. Notice I didn’t say “a way that honors your highest aspirations” or “a way that allows you to live to your fullest potential”. I said in a way that DEFINES you best. You are a captive to your story or your truth until you decide to CHANGE THE STORY. Every thought, feeling and action determines what you will choose to do next, good or bad. It leads you to every one of your experiences. Here is the good news and a real powerful little secret of life. Everyday can be a New Years day for you. You CAN decide to change your identity and how you choose to define yourself in the world. You CAN make changes that last and do not require a struggle or an effort. You CAN do all of this in any moment you choose. Everyday or really any moment can be a celebration of a clean slate of life and a new year ahead for you. What is required for true change is a will that is strong enough that it surpasses all fear. It requires a desire for change that is bigger that any worry of what’s next. You must simply decide who you are and how you want to demonstrate this new you and you must act before you have time to let your thoughts talk you out of it. You must be willing to take the journey to a deeper and more empowering understanding of who you really are. The reward for this type of will is the celebration of a new way of life and a truly New Year ahead. May this year be the most loving, fulfilling and peaceful one of your life, Howard About Howard Falco Howard Falco ( HowardFalco.com ) is an international author, speaker and spiritual teacher specializing in the power of the mind...Read More
